  • Your company has a commercial general liability insurance policy, which…

  • Submit/Agree to pay for background checks for your cleaners, if you have any other cleaners.

  • Your company will agree to and sign Miss HomeMaids subcontractor agreement

When the certificate of insurance and background checks are submitted to Miss HomeMaids and everything is acceptable, we’ll send our contractor agreement for you to sign.

What's Included In A Cleaning

Standard Clean
Recurring cleanings that include typical cleaning tasks such as:

*Cleaning counter surfaces
*Cleaning microwave
*Cleaning sinks
*Cleaning shower/toilet/mirror
*General dusting in living spaces
*Making beds
*Taking out garbage/recycling
*Tidying up spaces
*Vacuuming/mopping floors

Deep Clean 
Infrequent cleanings that include standard cleaning tasks, as well as:

*Cleaning baseboards 
*Cleaning garbage bins
*Cleaning window sills
*Dusting décor
*Remove light layer of soap scum/limescale
*Vacuuming furniture
*Vacuuming under furniture

Move In/Out Clean 
Most detailed cleans that include deep cleaning, as well as:

*Cleaning door frames 
*Cleaning inside cabinets
*Cleaning inside vanities
*Cleaning inside of windows
*Cleaning refrigerator (in/out)
*Cleaning oven (in/out)
*Spot cleaning walls
*Wiping down doors/knobs

How Contractors Are Paid

We use an incentive based payment model with our contractors. The following breakdown shows how much of each cleaning is shared between Miss HomeMaids and the contractor.

  • Cleanings 1 - 10

    • Miss HomeMaids: 50% of cleaning price

    • Contractor: 50% of cleaning price

  • Cleanings 11 - 20

    • Miss HomeMaids: 45% of cleaning price

    • Contractor: 55% of cleaning price

  • Cleanings 21+

    • Miss HomeMaids: 40% of cleaning price

    • Contractor: 60% of cleaning price

The contractor is able to do whatever they wish with their percentage of the cleanings. If they want to take out expenses for costs, or a management cut, etc, that will come out of the contractor percentage.

Cleaner Pay

Contractors work at different speeds and have different expenses so we can’t give an exact answer on a cleaner’s hourly wage. However, we aim for our contractors’ cleaners to make between $15 to $40 per hour once the partnership is fully established (Over 20 cleans). 

Here are a few assumptions about our cleaner pay estimates in the charts below…

  • Estimates don’t take into account any expenses or cuts that management takes out before paying their cleaners

  • Depending on the efficiency of the cleaning teams, payment could be higher or lower than the estimates.

  • Estimates are based on a team of 2 cleaners being used for each cleaning

REQUIREMENTS

Must have paid experience in cleaning.

Must be authorized to work in the area you are applying in.

Must pass criminal background check.

Must have excellent customer service skills.
